Joe sat with us for dinner, made many excellent recommendations for dishes. We enjoyed all the food, especially this dishes with extra the extra hot spices. The curry dishes had excellent flavors; the dal dishes were aromatic and delicious, and Joe kept the conversation flowing and interesting. It was an excellent night. Also...the new tables and chairs upstairs are comfortable and look great. ”

“ I visited just after 1pm on a Tuesday lunchtime. The restaurant is situated about ten minutes walk away from Sukhumvit MRT. I saw that there were lunchtime specials which looked good but I'd skipped breakfast and had quite an appetite. I ordered chicken samosas, chicken vindaloo, jeera rice and garlic naan bread. The samosas were delicious, packed full of filling and light pastry, accompanied by two different sauces. I'm glad I skipped breakfast because the portions are extremely generous, certainly more than enough for two adults. The chicken vindaloo wasn't too over the top spicy but full of flavour with plentiful moist pieces of chicken and soft to the bite potato in a rich sauce. The jeera rice was fluffy and the freshly made garlic naan hot and crispy. With a bottle of water the bill came to 420 THB which I thought was fantastic value for the amount of food that was served. I realised I could have taken away leftovers after I finished but will know for next time. If you're a couple, give it a try because one meal will feed two so you could even add more side dishes if you can handle it . Great service and you can pay by cash or QR code, no credit card. ”
“ I think this is the best budget Indian restaurant in Bangkok. I tried their samosas, which were the showstopper—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The butter chicken and tandoori roti were also quite good and satisfying. However, I didn’t enjoy the mango lassi. It had spices in it and didn’t taste like a classic, pure mango lassi—I’d recommend they adjust the recipe. Overall, it’s a great option if you’re looking to try Indian food near Asoke without breaking the bank ”
